gobbles "yay yeah!" tot was announced as the people's choice. in 20-09, president obama set a new precedent for pardoning not one, but two turkeys. this year "tater" and "tot" will retire to "gobbler's rest" at virginia tech. the president was joined this year by two of his nephews...joking his -- sasha and malia couldn't be there because they couldn't stand his dad jokes anymore. family spent the day before thanksgiving serving up meals for veterans in washington. residents at the armed forces retirement home got a chance to chat with the president as he served turkey and gravy...and briefly chatting with the veterans and workers as they made their way through the line. first lady michelle obama served beans and spinach.. while their daughter sasha gave out other holiday favorites including mashed potatoes, stuffing and cranberries. without turkey and stuffing? it's not easy to cheat on the turkey, but what about taking a shortcut by using a packaged stuffing? consumer reports tested some popular stuffings to see which ones deserve a place at your holiday table. contact 6's jenna sachs has the results. whether youre preparing thanksgiving dinner or just bringing a dish to a potluck, one good shortcut could be stuffing from a box. consumer reports food experts cooked up nine popular stuffings, to
